I love your garden blog girlfriend. It's wonderful. That second picture is one I have as a screen saver. It's blue bonnets which is the state flower of Texas. I didn't know that it is against the law to mow the sides of the roads out here in the spring when they are in bloom. Every spring Texas is covered in yellow poppies, blue bonnets, and Indian paint brush flowers. It's a beautiful pallet of color.
